Past six years I've been caregiver to husband. He was in a motorcycle accident, lives at home with me and I am his caregiver. He is a Viet Nam vet, suffers from trumatic brain injury, and paralyzed on right side.

I take care of the household. My mom died almost 4 years ago no. My youngest son was in Iraq and Afghanistan. He is home and he suffers from ptsd and his knees are messed up. We had a pet I had to put to sleep. Everything is overwhelming me right now.

Come down to the supporters area, where you will find a lot of useful info to get you started. You will find your not alone anymore, and there is a lot of support just for you, as you learn how to cope with all this a bit easier. Sounds wiered to say it can get easier, but it can, it just takes time.

Remember while all this is going on, you must take care of yourself too, it is one of the hardest things to learn for some.
