Just A Quick Thank-you

I have been through a harrowing personal time of late medically.

I am finally getting much better and have stopped the hard liquor and hard drugs. I am in a detox program for the time being and am reducing my alcohol consumption under strict doctors orders and watchful eye.

I simply wish to thank the members of this forum for the wonderful and heartfelt concerns for my health. It became quite serious a few weeks ago when it was discovered that I had in fact been suffering an acute bleed to my stomach which needed me to have a blood transfusion and endoscopy to seal the hole in my stomach. Now nearly 2 1/2 weeks on I am finally well on the mend and the doctors are monitoring me very closely.

Thank-you all once again for your support in this very scary time in my life, I do not think I would have gotten through this period as well as I have without you all.

My Doctor has just rung with my latest blood test results and they have come back very low again, man I just want this all to go away now, guess I had better ring the Gastro team, I was feeling so happy earlier, just to have this shattered yet again. I will as previously keep the members updated.

Well, I'm out ..... again, bleeding stabilized and pick my numerous meds up this afternoon,
