It’s a quote from the fifth Harry Potter film - The Order of The Phoenix from IMDB. The names and magicky bits have been removed, which personally I think makes it incredibly relatable.

I am reading a book called Spiritual Divorce that talks about just that. Without darkness, there would be no light. We have both, and I can see how not accepting and owning the less desirable, or dark side of ourselves prevent us from obtaining happiness.
