Let The Christmas Madness Begin

I am just having some of my self-made (last weekend) Christmas goodies, namely Stollen (there is no translation for this; it's the thing in slices and the big loaf covered with powdered sugar), Kartoffellebkuchen (potatoe gingerbread; the round dark brown ones) and cookies.

Would really like to be able to share with you all!

Looks yummy Prime No! I was getting frustrated over making Spritz cookies yesterday. Some of my Spritz look rather funky. lol Yours look so beautiful they could be in a magazine!

Thanks, Britt. :) Baking is my stress relief no. 1. Guess I've had some practice. ;-)

Enjoy those funky ones, Britt! I love it when you can see they're hand-/homemade and not just bought ready-made. (No offense.)

Those cookies look good p no. I wish you could share too. You are quite the baker. I do not think I have ever done anything like that. I have made christmas sugar cookies. Yum.

None taken. ;) I did order some from a local store/restaurant/deli/bakery. Sorry, it's all those in one but just a little one. They have natural and gluten free products. They'll make the gluten free there. They even asked if there were any other allergies to consider. I have a little niece, 10 years old, who can only eat gluten free. I feel bad for her during family gatherings since no one, with the exception of her dad, really takes that into consideration when getting or making things.

I don't mind store bought, but I do think homemade taste better! :)

Damn you all. Being on a diet is going to be MURDER this holiday season.
Seeing all of you have such fun makes me feel less of a grinch, and want to start baking!
And thanks for the description of the tree skirts, I actually do quilting (when I'm not working or exhausted!), so it's given me a few ideas!

hehe, well I sew my quilts together by hand, so it's not that different!

I haven't been able to do much for a while though, been pretty flat out.
