Hey Road Warriors!

Wow it's good to be back. Yesterday I got the all clear to return to gradual level of working out before all the rudeness of this heart thing. All is well and it appears I had a possible genetic issue that for whatever reason just showed itself when I hurt my ankle and probably totally co-incidedental to the ankle injury.

So Monday I did a very slow 5k, then yesterday I did one hour of Kenpo and today 45 minutes of Kettlebell.

Gentle...I think I was gentle...I did have sweat pouring down my back and loved every minute of it and tonight I am blissfully tired.

I missed you all!
 
Thursday was a rest day. Friday was my first full out 10k but still at a slower pace than usual and being very careful of my ankle.
Saturday was a weight session - so lots of upper body, Sunday is lower body and Monday will be a rest day.

My biggest enemy is my mind -managing those friggin' expectations I have of myself!

But i am at least building rest days in more and wearing an ankle brace just to remind myself to take it easy.
