Had a few problems with the leg (infections that suddenly erupted) but all is well now. I have been back at the gym doing strengthening experiences. I might be in shape for a marathon since I haven't done one in a while. My physio guy is now working with me with that as a goal. I figure even if I can't complete it I need to just get there and start.
Been doing lots of swimming and elliptical work - band exercise like one person puts the band around their waist and the other person stands behind them with the band on their waist. The person in front (me) jumps as far as they can and the person in the back (my physio dude) tries to remain in one place while I jump. It's fun and quite difficult but works on all slow and fast twitch muscles and well as strength and agility.
A really great day at the gym today - I was able to do some roundhouse kicking and kept my balance which is always nice.!!
Broken leg mended. back at it. Lots of 3-6 mile runs but today I got in 9miles with 2000 ft climbing. whoosh. Mended leg complained a bit but I did do a lot more climbing than anticipated.
