Well what can say today at the shop... Which was really really busy for a sunday I freaked out.
There was...

I think your anxiety was high without you realising it when you were out and so you were triggered without any warning. When you are feeling edgy then be careful being triggered. You may need to discuss with you're doctor or psychiatrist what to do. I am learning to identify the warning signs when my PTSD is at danger point. And i have to be very careful because it becomes dangerous for me as I disassociate and have flashbacks and become a loose cannon without realising it. When I lose it mentally I lose ME. So try avoid crowds when you are feeling not yourself. Good luck and hope you getting better

A long time ago I worked in a small country store, there was this guy there that had so many affairs with so many women and was getting to close. He followed me behind the counter where the register was and got too close so I held both of my hands in a stop position and yelled back off and he literally ran out of the store. I was embarrassed but it worked.

@Xena what you did worked so good for you. Drunks aren't operating with a full deck anyway so I think you must not beat up on yourself for just reacting this way. I was embarrassed slightly when I overreacted but it did work and the guy never approached me again. We only have ourselves to defend ourselves when our personal space gets so invaded.
