I have been seeing a lot of the Marvel movies lately. I can’t help but wonder about these super hero characters/villains/anti-heroes, traumas they experienced and the therapy they would benefit from. I realize that we aren’t equipped to diagnosis them, but since they aren’t actually real, any opinions out there?
Do you think that any of them have ptsd?

Not sure how to copy a link, but I just read an interesting article discussing the Hulk and Captain America and how they show signs of ptsd. The hulk being taught meditation as a way to control his symptoms. Captain America struggling to connect to current society after having been frozen.

Off of the topic of ptsd, my mind is also focused on Wasp girl. I think of the grief and trauma of losing her mom and the way her dad originally handled it. And of course, the plot and ending of the current movie. How emdr could benefit this situation, how the fantasy we use in emdr actually kind of mirrors what they can achieve in their world. And the ghost character. Won’t spoil that, but the benefits therapy could have in that situation!

Most certainly. Tony stark also has a very clear case of PTSD from the alien invasion and his near death experience. Jessica Jonges has PTSD and addiction issues. Frank Castle has PTSD big time as well.
I think the Marvel TV Series do a better job, as there's more time for character development.
