[Hiding the Pain]

I am not sure if medication is the right thing for me, but my T wants me to go on meds to slow my nightmares. I am starting to have Panic attacks and my nightmares are getting worse. I would like to know what meds work for certain PTSD symptoms..And what things I should really steer clear of....Thank you

I am taking Mirtazapine for depression and to help me get to sleep as I have chronic insomnia. I take Effexor for depression and anxiety. And I take Seroquel for reduce nightmares and help balance mood swings.

Getting medications right can be tricky and I wish you luck on finding the one(s) that work for you. A Pysch Doc is the best person to get advice about medications that will suit you.
