Other Menopause and testosterone

This is kind of related. Someone else posted about how sexual abuse (I think they were referring to csa) might cause early menopause.

Not limited to CSA. Childhood trauma can speed up puberty and other hormone driven changes - but at the same time some simple trauma can heal from that process as well.
Complex trauma has the same effects, but self healing does not happen.

That is to say the hormonal changes are the same in trauma in childhood, no matter the cause.

Ditto… the women in my family “usually” have higher than normal testosterone levels. Which “means”? We have oomphy sex drives, and oomphy protective instincts. Whether we’re USMC or SAHM’s on the farm. Personality & life choices, aside? Oomph.
