@Cj77 I am so happy for you that you have reached this point in your healing and recovery. There was a turning point for me when the past had totally been hashed out and I was fed up with giving my abusers free rent space in my head.:hug:

I havent read all of the replies but being my mother is also one of my main absuers but created a bond very early on, making it very complicated, I get how hard this can be. How hard it can be to find the words. Take it slow. Try to find the emotions that your "wounded child within" feels or would feel and once you connect with that, scream your heart at her here.

CJ, you're right in that not everything she did/said was wrong. Just the majority of it was.

I know how hard it is to have to cut ties with family, it really sucks, but sometimes it's the best thing we can do for ourselves.
