Maybe try just focussing on the things around you or perhaps where you'd most like to be - somewhere safe - I have two, my friends sofa and the Bunker from Supernatural (an impenetrable underground and luxurious safe-haven)!
Try spotting 5 (or more) colours, what can you smell, feel 5 different textures around you, what can you hear, focus on your favourite flavour and imagine you are eating it. If you are able to move get a strong flavour to help - lemon, orange, a teaspoon of ketchup, cinammon, mint gum (and/or brush your teeth), make sure it's a strong flavour.
Try hugging a soft toy or a pillow, treat yourself like a scared child, do anything and everything you need to to try and feel a bit safer, warmer and more comfortable.
Try music or if that's too much maybe ambient sounds - like rain, birdsong or the sound of a tumbledryer - whatever is peaceful to you.
