I'm so sorry to hear about this, it sounds like an awful situation to ever be faced with. You don't mention in your post if you are actively seeing a therapist. I resisted the idea of seeing a therapist for years and years, with thoughts like I didn't want to feel crazy, etc. I can't recommend enough getting with a caring professional who has experience dealing with these types of trauma!
