Oh this dog has my heart.

It is amazing the bond that a service dog and it's handler has! I would of never believed the bond between Chopper and I could get any stronger without seeing it myself. And I panicked when he simply pulled a muscle in his leg.

Ah, and we are going to do super extra re-training on not eating anything she is not supposed to eat!!!!

It's the safest thing as many places will bait meat with rat poison for dogs. But keep in mind that even the best trained dogs will mess up. Don't beat yourself up over it!

My sweet dog is with me and is getting her bounce back. :) I am beaming. We are going for a nice easy walk and then it’s home for both of us to recover - me from my cold, and her from her um, trip. Lol.

So wonderful to see her eye bright again and not wobbly and scared. :D

Vet said it was the 7th doggie pot overdose in a week! :( I guess there is something in the newer more potent strains that is super hard for even well trained dogs to resist.

I asked vet about extra protections and she suggested a soft muzzle. I need her to be able to protect herself though, so instead I’m going to use every other technique I know, but I’m considering the muzzle just until I’m well and she’s super duper extra trained on staying away from anything that doesn’t come from me.

I’m just so glad she’s ok. :) :) :) it’s worth being a bit poorer. (Vet bills, yikes!)

ARE INSANE!!!

I'm getting insurencr for Chopper too and any other service dog I have. My poor cat will need to do without as even insurence is insanely expensive once more then one pet is added.

I'm glad she is doing better. Why is there pot on the ground? The pothead didnt want it? Ugh!
