My husband was the love of my life. I thought I could not live without him. It is so painful to be living without him. I already lost all grandparents, parents, siblings, and my son. I hate death. I really loathe it.

I came to the realization a few months ago that I would give up everyone I know if it was the only way to keep my relationship with God. (Yes, I had someone try to get in between that relationship, unfortunately.)

I can survive without anyone else.

My husband, because he understands, and because he made me go tot he doctor when he started to recognise his own symptoms in me.

A small handful of friends, because they let me rant at them on occasion, and don't mind when I need to sit with my back to the wall in public places!

My children. They are the only reason I'm even here. If they were no longer in my life I just wouldn't care enough to stay sober or alive. Continuing on without everyone else would be hard but I'd be able to do it, just not without my kids.

I thought that I could not live without my husband, but I discovered that I am able to go on without him.

Now I say my daughter and my two granddaughters.

I am trying to build a life out of ashes. I know I never again want to be so isolated again.

My son used to be the only reason I was here.. but if I'm not on this list too with him, then he's gonna get cheated out of a mom big time. Other than those two people, I'd say I can't live without walking down the street and being smiled at by somebody.. or maybe someone is shocked that the girl with the white mohawk is holding the door for them at the bank, and they just seem... idk joyful. That's it. I cannot live without joyful people. Whoever they are <3
