Retarded, I mean retired navy here, but I was airdale - I worked on jet parts or was in a squadron.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of your deployments "similar experience" will probably be few and far between. That doesn't mean I don't have your back here. Us squids gota stay together to keep all the other riff-raff in line. lol. ;)

Try not to feel too bad about being the only 'squid' where you live. I've lived in the eastern part of the US all my life. Highly populated area. I've only known and talked to 3 Marines over the course of my life and only one was in 'Nam like me. The only vets that I know now are the 8 guys in my group therapy and ya'll here. So the prospects can always improve.
