Hi Joan, sorry to hear you struggling - I have been there in that dark place, its so dark we cant see where we are, so maybe just stay still and rest and get some sleep if you can. I found these Daily Affirmations off the internet someone wrote for PTSD. So hope you can find something there that will give you peace of mind. Also my PTSD C Group lady - I go to a Group once a month for support so we all can relate to each other and its nice to meet new people who think like US. She has Flash cards in her handbag. So - for instance ; if you write up a sentence like ' Hey everyone hates me and I just want to run away' - you find that flash card, which YOU or a friend can write for you ' Call your best friend ph ....... ask her to fetch you and take you out for a coffee" : Try and make about 5 flash cards if you can of your fears and who can help you.
These are the affirmations that help me :
· I strive to love all of me every day and often.
· I am perfect. My feelings and emotions are impermanent, weak and fleeting – without real power.
· My true self is the only permanent thing about me.
· I am striving to live each minute in the present, bringing awareness to my mind.
· My inner self guides me and is always present in this moment.
· Everything fades, clearing this moment for opportunity to fully blossom.
· My true self is the power of my organism and I bring stillness everyday to my quiet mind.
· I try my best everyday with calm, experiencing life as a miracle.
· Thoughts are delusions, powerless next to my true self.
· Living in the moment solves all things, permitting them to exist on their own.
· I am responsible for me, period. Others are responsible for their actions without my involvement.
