Sorry, Mental. Bad habit I got into in construction. When you're screaming over the noise of an excavator, conversations and names get shortened. I used to ask if the guy minded if I called him by a nickname and once a guy said "as a matter of fact I DO mind". So, now, I don't ask. I figure if they don't like it, they'll tell me.
