New Medication.

I recently reconnected with my therapist and she decided to put me on Zoloft, Is it normal to feel just generally out of it when I take it? The first time I took it my eyes got all glassy and I felt like I was a walking hazard, those effects most of them have worn off but I feel just generally out of it when i take it. Almost separated from myself.
I have an upcoming appointment with her soon I may ask for a switch of Medicines.
