I have been diagnosed with PTSD. I'm a 55 years old woman and was assaulted on several occasions when I was 18 and after. I was told that they want to put me on meds but after reading your posts about your medication problems I think I'll go with medical marijuana. No side effects and works almost instantly with proven results. I want to live my life awake and those meds of yours would not let me do that.

I think it's important to realize that there are a lot more posts about issues with medications than posts about medications that work well because this is a support/help forum and when all is well people tend to not post about how great their meds are------but when things are going haywire with meds people want feedback so med problems are posted much more frequently. I personally have found certain meds to be lifesavers and I don't think I'm wrong in assuming that others have, too.

Also, MJ isn't without its own issues. There are indeed side effects and some of us can't tolerate MJ at all.

I fear that perhaps you're jumping to conclusions about both pharmaceuticals and MJ. I hope you can find something that helps you. :)
