My concern is that you say you are signing up for a single session. Just one. Even if you have the perfect T how can they tell you what you need and deliver it all in one go? Yes it is her job, but ..... Then what if you are not following up ?

Update: I have an appointment with a different T for Monday who was referred by someone I trust... And her office is in a building :)

I bit the bullet and am borrowing the money from my mom... Ugh

Yes but any T that is referred to me doesn't take insurance... And definitely not mine :(

Maybe you should search specifically for one who does take your insurance. It's probably worth it to travel a little out of the way to be able to save your money.
