Nightmares

Yay for sleeping! Ugh, I had my first nightmare since my med change. It wasn't as bad as usual though. Weird as all get out, but I woke feeling like WTF instead of scared or depressed, which is a step up. Had another one last night, same WTF feeling without the fear or anything, so fewer nightmares and weaker ones. Little by little.

Hi

In my dream book it reckons that teeth falling out means you are going through some transition in your life, like maturing and if a female swallows the teeth in her dream it's something to do with pregnancy lol

I use minipress for nightmares. i think the medical name is prazoein. Nasty side effects but for me the benefits outweigh the low blood pressure problems.
I've taken sleeping pills once in awhile but then i always get trapped in the nightmares so I don't take them if I dont have to.

That's the same thing I'm taking, Innordinate. The low blood pressure has only gotten to me a couple times, but it's SO worth it!

I'm still getting them, but only once in a while. I've been on the minpress for about 3 weeks and just got my first nightmare a couple days ago. HUGE improvement. And not nearly as intense.

Im on temazepam, I sleep a lot better now, I at least now weard dreams instead of weard nightmares :D
also great imrpovements but I get the need to sleep more now xD

Agh! I recently had this teeth nightmare for the first time.

Hi, Matt. I've suffered from night terrors, nightmares, sleep-walking, insomnia, over-sleeping, and developing bizarre cycles (three 3 hour naps a day or becoming completely nocturnal, down when the sun is coming up and up when it's going down), all my life. I am actually scared to go to sleep right now! >.< Sleeping next to my fiance helps, but he gets up about an hour before I do, and when he gets out of bed I have nightmares that seem to last for days in my dreamworld, and it is very hard for me to wake up. : ( These issues stem from my trauma, though generally when they get worse they are illustrating something that I am not dealing with, and my sleep generally improves when I feel like I'm dealing with things and in control of/comfortable with my life.
I went through this last month for about three weeks. I hope you are doing better.
