so quietly re-reading everything all y'all said and hoping it sinks in if I do it often enough.

I'm kind of glad to hear I'm not the only one who does that. :)

Quite some time ago, I was emailing with my T about a homework assignment that I didn't like much. I accused him of being too tough. His reply....... Well, I saved that email and have it stuck at the top of my email page, so I can reread it now and then. Here's what he said.

"I am REAL easy. It's what y'all do and have been doing to yourselves that it's HARD, MEAN & Undeserved. But, you can't stop it or modify it or redirect it until you recognize, as a conscious adult, you are doing it ... And, have been for decades."

He said "y'all" partly because he was being funny and also because he meant it applies to everyone who struggles with this stuff, not just me. You too @Ronin ! :hug:
