Thought I was doing good today. Finished up some small projects around the house. But no. I also forgot to eat all day and also missed my 12 step meeting for the first time in four months. God only knows what else I screwed up today. Some days I just want to say f it all.

Look, you got stuff done. Stuff is done. Yay! Patting yourself on the back is deserved.

Hopefully you can make it ok until the next meeting.

I was instructed, in taking a daily inventory, not to lie to myself.

What went right, in my daily inventory = equally, if not more important, than what went wrong.

To deny that what went right happened or was important is lying to myself as much as lying to myself that nothing went wrong.

What went right today?
What went wrong today?
What do I have to work on? (Continuing or Discontinuing)
Are there any amends I should make? To myself or others?

The 4 parts that make up Step10.

I'm not in the program... I still take a daily inventory. It's a good tool for living.

You did not screw up, do not be so hard on yourself, and do not stress yourself about it. You are a strong person and brave person, keep your head high and strong. It can be very difficult to even become aware that you have lost time that may have resulted in missing appointments/commitments/etc. If it may help, set an alarm on your phone for the days you have important commitments, and if they are the same day/time each week, set the alarm in repeat so you do not have to stress about setting it every week. If you have an errand/task to do the next day or later that week, set an alarm for that as well. It may help, it does help me more often than not.
