Ugh! I got home today to see the last one last night was the last episode. What series has only 8 episodes to a season? f*ckers! Now I am hung at what happened to her!

I was expecting this like other world of saving her friends from the guy in the other dimension. Only 8 episodes? WTF Netflix? I normally like Netflix orginals. Bleh!

Anyway, I can't see why your therapist wanted you to watch it other then life after trauma and some of the few things said that apply to reality. But its not like this huge thinking like show. Like Inside Out kinda was and that is a kids movie.

@CrowFeather You are blessed to have such an opened minded T. It most certainly appears to be a form of invite from your T, for you to be comfortable to explore some aspects of yourself within those sessions.

My T promotes this too, quietly, kindly. I have not ever felt exploited in sharing some of those gifts. May you find the same peace within your acceptance of self and sessions. Happy Holidays to you and yours...and the wonderful lot on this thread!

@Recovery4Me She is exceptional. Sometimes therapy is more of a spiritual awakening than what it's meant to be. She's helped me get comfortable talking other worldly stuff. I am so lucky.

I'm at a loss going into episode 4 on why she'd want me to watch.

Hey Crowfeather,

has representative-Trauma been a topic during the Therapy? I dont know if that word exists? I watched the show, not sure if I liked it or not. Some aspects yes, some NO.
What I do get is that, processing severe trauma can happen on different levels. Humans ability to survive, find skills be it spiritual, philosophical whatever.

So, did you watch it ?

Not sure what that phrase means. Can you explain?

And yep. Watched the season in two nights.

After reading this thread, I just binged watched it. I loved how unique it was and the fact that it explored topics rarely addressed by t.v. Questions left unanswered and Alfonso seemed way to perfect despite having an alcoholic mother but...but I really enjoyed it. It was a bit triggering at times towards the middle of the show, but I not as bad as I expected.
