Hi. This is a very unusual question to ask but I really need to know.
I was just wondering if anyone knew how long it would take for ice cream to melt. Where I live in Canada has no Basking Robbins in the entire province, and since I'm going to the States soon, I was planning on buying maybe a tub or two of ice cream. I know I can get ice cream anywhere, but it's just that I can't find my favourite flavour ice cream, which is Rocky Road, where I live. I checked all the places that sell ice cream and I can't find it. Well that's not fair, in the stores they sell rocky road ice cream, but it's not the real thing because the real Rocky Road ice cream should have marshmallows, but the ones in the stores have marshmallow swirl, which is NOT the same thing.
The problem I am facing is the time it will take from the Baskin Robbins to my house is going to be 8hrs 30mins, and I don't think the ice cream will make it.
So if there is anyone who knows how long it takes for a tub of ice cream to melt, or has suggestions for keeping the ice cream frozen or at least not make it turn into soup, please feel free to share?
