One Thing That Made You Smile Today?

I went surfing the 'net and found some baby's Halloween costumes. So cute! There are a lot of good one's out there. Maybe I will run into some mommies with their babies dressed all up for the holiday. That will make me smile more than some photos on the 'net.

A little wee girl about 18 months who can walk but just starting to talk, only have seen her about 2 or 3 times. Today she started to follow me around in a busy public work area ('things are looking up over here', I said), and then later seeing me down the hall ran towards me, and when I bent down jumped up and threw herself up and in to my arms with her arms stretched out in a big hug around my neck. :):inlove:

An impossible and critical job completed. One down, 3 to go. One dependent on me, one on me and another, one on a contractor- still waiting.
A gift left from a friend who just died without warning recently, which I will cherish. And wouldn't you know, it had roses. :inlove:

I wrote a short story about a game I play. In it the character I play as has to deal with a cat who grooms himself when its most embarrassing for her. They go to retrieve information from an enemy camp and things go wrong. I used to take screenshots in games and add speech bubbles to have the characters tell why I thought the situation they were in struck me as funny. It felt good to write it.

I overhead a conversation in Walgreens yesterday between a dad and his daughter wherein he was telling her she was a pretty cool kid and that he thought he'd keep her. I think she was about 11-12 and her response was so cute and tween typical. It was precious. :)

My sister had picked up a couple of my favorite sayings and adopted them as her own. One of them was "What would Scooby do?"

Ya know they say that "Imitation is the highest form of flattery" ....to know she thought well of me made me smile in my heart.

I found $15 in the dryer when I was doing laundry.?

My sister texted she was hungover today. She went out with me and my friends last night. ?

Our pastor said that he changed the order of events on our church bulletin so that none of us could escape before his sermon. (Apparently someone complained about his sermon last week. They must have thought he was being too harsh or something, you know?)
