As I have shared all the lead up to our wedding in a prior thread I thought the romantics out there might want to hear about the day.

The plan was.....have a wedding with the least amount of stress as possible (we all know how good that is for PTSD Sufferers).

Well, I have to give myself a pat on the back as all went to plan, there were no hiccups, no mistakes, nothing forgotten, no-one running late. It was just perfect and so much fun.

We were lucky as a client of mine knew someone so we got an upgrade with early check in and late check out at a really flash Hotel (Inn) at no extra cost. The rooms were nearly as big as our house and we had a dining room, desk, lounge and coffee table, huge bedroom with a TV that came out of a cupboard at the foot of the bed and the most heavenly beds. The toilet was in a room by itself with basin and enough room to swing a cat and then the main bathroom was twin basin with spa and shower. Just amazing.

As for the wedding....the flowers were perfect and were delivered on time, the dress fitted perfectly, the makeup and hair was just what I wanted and I walked out of the hotel feeling like a Princess.

The boys got ready on time and both Anthony and my son just looked dashing. We had to have photos before the wedding due to light (still Winter here) and considering it rained and the weather was dreadful the day before and the day after the wedding I know we were blessed. It was very cold however but we had photos taken in the Treasury Gardens which, based on novice photos to date, should look amazing in the professional versions.

Where we were married the furniture was very Victorian and just matched the style of my dress.

Apparently I kept the guests in anticipation with cameras as they could see the security guards' hand go to open the doors through the tinted glass but then go away as I was crying with happiness. I had to fan my face and struggled not to ball my eyes out all the way down the aisle with happiness.

They played our song and it was just perfect. The way Anthony grabbed me and kissed me when we were pronounced husband and wife was just awesome.

My son gave me away and he did me proud all night!

Reception was amazing. Everyone loved it and the food and we have received so many comments of how much a good time they all had. Anthony gave an impressive impromptu speech and some friends got up and it was just so enjoyable.

We had organised songs like the Chicken Dance, Nut Bush, Macarana and Zorba dance and it was just so much fun.

By the time the chauffeur came to pick us up I felt I was only getting started. It was so nice to leave on such a high.

It was one of the happiest and most enjoyable days of my life.
