Panic And Resolution

Stain that is awesome. Sounds like you set real priorities. That is how I feel about the holidays, what gets put out now must be put away in a couple of weeks. Half the lights went out on my tree this week and all is still good as I sit here watching old movies.
 
I felt it flow back up yesterday mid-morning ...panic attack. I don't know if it was the hornt honking out front or the gloomy weather or what exactly but my heart about jumped out of chest and I could barely breath.

I had to brush my teeth (ALERT: is this truly a form of SI as Alba had suggested, I'm watching it careful to ONLY brush with a soft bristle brush and minimally while rinsing my mouth in between as an alternative), I did some stretching, and used Aroma Scents to calmed down while breathing. This helped for a time.

The upshot was that it was a difficult day for me. I recall that positive stress is just as stressful. I was exhausted from the day before and all those really great feelings because a stress for me.

It's a work in progress.
 
Just wanted to say how useful and timely I've found this thread to be. All those reminders of grounding and safety messages, all that good, calm, wise advice...

Thanks everyone. It humbles me how much I take from this forum, which is often my only companion when I so desperately need one. Guess tonight's one of those nights.

I lay in bed last night telling myself I was safe over and over, so it's really good that people share. Thanks everyone.
