Researchers at Ryerson University are interested in studying individuals’ preferences for treatment of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). PTSD is an anxiety disorder that sometimes develops after a person has been exposed to a traumatic event. PTSD can be treated in a variety of different ways, and we are looking to study which treatment options people prefer.
Your participation will require completing a 20-30 minute online survey, during which your confidentiality will be maintained. Questions about personal experiences may cause psychological discomfort. However, your responses will remain confidential and you are free to answer or decline each question.
To participate in this study, you must be competent to provide informed consent and between over the age of 18. Should you choose to provide us with your mailing address, you will be compensated in the form of a $5 gift certificate to Starbucks for your time when you participate in this study.
