Went to the park at the end of the day and a very very friendly squirrel decided grace us with his presence ... was with my son and he absolutely loved it.. he took alot of photos of this creature, felt very special ... I always feel more connected to myself around animals - they have such a calming presence (well, the ones in our local park)

LOL... Yep! The local park piece is key!!! Less calming when they're trying to eat you!

Mosquitos are probably the worst of the lot!!!

Luckily we don't have to worry about that so much in the UK, but I get eaten alive when I go abroad..

I’m just warning ya now- I’d win lol. My house is near a pretty stagnant creek and for some reason mosquitoes are obsessed with me. Which is irritating because they would skip over my grandpa just to eat me.

I once counted over 100 on ...someone's... left cheek. (And lost a bet, I thought they were exaggerating for effect when they said their arse alone had over 100 bites on it).

So let's cheerfully exclude THAT lil piece o'hairy nightmare fuel... bikini bites we'll take your word on, no pictures PLEASE! I don't care how impressive your 3rd "nipple" is... and I'm game.

I and, most of Edinburgh’s residents it seems, am up the Braid hills hoping to catch some of the northern lights. I doubt it honestly it seems too cloudy but the city and Arthur’s Seat always looks pretty from here regardless.

We couldn't see ours with the naked eye, old tech, or glass/mirror lenses (SLR), but newer phones/tablets/DSLRs could!
