I learned that a soft side kiddie pool isn't all that easy to fill, if you don't want to have to stand there the whole time due to the hose being too heavy for the sides.

No problem! A rubber band, a wooden clothes rack, and a few books made it possible ? :

These jellyfish have been around all year and I don’t think they’re native to the area I don’t recall ever seeing one before this year. I’d hate to have the pleasure of swimming into to one that size.

After a day full of pool maintenance (lol), clever solutions, soaking up the sun and water, it started storming, again. The sun came back out and I took the camera for an evening walk.

My fancy pool cover (tarp) and fire wood weights to try to keep the pool clean and keep the cover anchored during high winds - might need to add a few more sticks - and a few tent pegs:

Well, so this photo came about because I happened to notice my amazon parcel was in a town in Northern Italy. And I thought huh, my amazon parcel is seeing a lot more of the world than I am. And I had a look on Google maps street view at this town and yeah OK I'm not missing much. But it set me off thinking about posting photos in here from Google maps street view. As I'm not exactly getting out and about much just now. I checked with Staff and so long as the photo is attributed it's OK.

So, here's my first choice, of a beautiful town on the coast in Italy Manarola. I saw a photo of this on the net recently in full sunlight and its just so beautiful. Not quite as nice a day here but anyhoo.

I might do some more if thee we'll see.

The amaryllis is about to hold forth. It sprouted a few months back after having been dormant about a year. We were disappointed it missed Christmas, which is it’s usual season.
