This is a cousin of the house wren with which I’m intimately aquatinted. They were always coming in the house where we were in the woods when the kids were little, and we would have to catch them and let them out. They’re called house wrens for a reason, they live with people often and have no fear of them. They are expert at staying out of the direct line of sight, you always see them from the corner of your eye.The Carolina Wren has become one of my favorites.
