Surfing some waves of grief this week, so I decided to play in the dirt, plant some seeds, nurture some life up in here (especially my own), seek out some wild thangs, and change the scenery and the program in this brain of mine.
Struttin' in one direction and scopin' shit out in the other...
Preppin' pretty veggies and local shroomage of the oyster and lion's mane variety...
My favorite first sign of spring that pops up each year next to the sidewalk...
The first seeds of the season planted - arugula, mesclun salad mix, kale, and spinach - with the cover propped up waiting to go on to keep them protected until the night temps are warmer...
Secured and ready for night night...
A few more seeds planted in a bigger raised bed - beets, red onion, spring onion, radish, and I can't remember the other one (carrots, maybe) - with some garlic still livin' in the background...
My shadow waving at ya'...
Soaking the shroom logs - note to self - add more water...
