Positive Feelings?

3 weeks ago I started EMDR with my Pdoc. After that 1st session my brain went on a 6 day vacation. Because of that reaction it was decided that we needed more work on grounding and relaxation practices.

My appointment last week was much more relaxed than any other session. I even made her laugh which caused me to smile. She asked what I was feeling, but I couldn't answer because I didn't know. Before next session she wants me to list 3 positive feelings. I've been thinking about this for 4 days now and I haven't come up with even 1.

It sounds like it should be easy to do, but I feel stupid because I just don't know what a positive feeling would feel like.

Can someone explain this to me please?

Is she asking you just to name three positive feelings that anyone might feel, or is she asking you to give examples of when you've felt three positive feelings?
 
Could you start by calling to mind positive experiences you've had, and then while connecting with them in as much detail as possible, see if you can connect with what you were feeling at the time? Instead of trying for the feelings first, try for the experiences that caused the feelings? Just an idea.
