I have EMDR every Tuesday and today was really tough, as tough as it's been really. I sat in my car for half hour to calm myself before getting on the road after the session. In these moments its hard to remember what to do. I got home and lied down listening to calming water sounds for maybe 2 hours. I'm going to do more deep abdominal breathing while listening closely to music. Then netflix.
