I was making white chocolate confections for my son's birthday party, and wound up getting melted chocolate, which was really thick and viscous, all over my hands. I started feeling like it was grease, which I always hated in the Navy, and that I was going to get it all over my uniform, and get yelled at by a chief for f*cking my uniform up.
I was able to recognize the incongruity of it and even make jokes about how weird it was, despite the panic attack that came with it, and was able to finish making the sweets.
