General Proud Of Myself

I'm currently in the biggest shut out of my relationship so far. Quite a bit has happened since he disappeared that I haven't shared with him. I turned 30, I started university and not only have I done these things, but I have done them without falling apart over his absence.

Anyway, to cut a long story short, I got the result back from my first essay yesterday. 79/100. One point off a distinction.

I'm pretty chuffed with myself, considering I haven't studied for 14 years.

A belated Happy Birthday too. May I ask what you are studying ? Is it keeping you busy.

I'm doing a Social Work degree. It's full time so it keeps me very busy. Plus I work and have 3 children. Not much time for anything else these days.

I need to correct myself. I was reading the university website a little earlier and 79/100 IS a distinction. My very first essay and I got a distinction!
