I would move on... or at the very least put some space.... I liked the suggestion to be busy when he calls several times and just see how he reacts to your not jumping when he says jump. You sound like you are on track with your life... getting an education... have ambition and goals. Don't let him hold you down.
 
Very glad to read about intending to go to a codependent group... in the meantime, even reading the book Codependent No More can be a real eye opener.

Totally unhealthy relational dynamic for two adults. PTSD or not (and I'm the one in my relationship that has PTSD, so I feel pretty confident I can say that from personal experience).

I've read the book, I think I'll read it again..It's so hard because I love him and even though I'm the one who allowed him to be like this towards me, I do miss him. I wish he were someone you could have a normal conversation with and come to comprmises.

I have been doing this for a long time now, he doesnt mind this. He actually like it when I have little time to see him. Very avoidant attachment style. At first I had a hard time accepting this, but then I got used to it
