How do you 'private message' somebody on here? I don't have messenger or the likes of anything else that would do. I can start a conversation or leave it on your profile page i guess. What shall I do.

Anthony, there are some brilliant books written by S Scott Peck who is a psychiatrist, probably retired by now. I have read two of them and they can be bought at a discount price through Amazon in a package of three for just under $28.00

"People of the Lie", "Road Less Travelled" and "Further Along the Road Less Travelled".

Just thought you may like to look at it. I used the first two when I was hospitalised for a long period in the Nineties. They helped me a lot and deals with PTSD in many forms from childhood to adulthood. Made me understand a lot about the evil side of people. The other was uplifting and a guide to finding your way in life. It explained life as a road map and how we branch of the track as life situations occur. Very interesting reading.

I am in for sure. Reading is my best escape! Where will be find the Book Club forum? Will it just be this thread or another one under Chit Chat?

It will appear as a forum in the general category... called, Book Club.

Taking a breather at the moment from writing a small novel to explain Eriksons Psychosocial Theory, whilst having to makeup a case study, then analyse it. Go figure... the shit you have to do for schooling.

Thanks Loloma.. I will take a look. Still getting through the current few I have here, which I have ignored for the past month or so due to holidays. I try to read 25 - 50 pages a day of the more indepth books... so it only consumes 30 - 90 minutes a day of my time without overloading.

I am looking forward to reading outside of the entire trauma field though. That will actually be refreshing.

There was one someone mentioned, which sparked my curiosity the other day, and I have it bookmarked on my other computer which I can't access right now... but will include here later, which when I searched brought up some other quality recommendations on grief, relationships and trauma, life after death, etc, which I found interesting as maybe's for my own personal trauma collection.
