drunken idiots near my home decided screaming, fistfights, chaos, threats, mayhem etc (between themselves, not me and mine) was fine to do. It brought back the stabbing I witnessed as a teenager and other violence. Cue me shaking, freaking out etc.Called cops, at least I managed to do that. Was terrified for my children's safety. I’m rocking back and forth either autism or ptsd or anxiety or all three. f*ck I hear yelling again. My cat is hunkered down near me. She hates this shit too, I’m guessing. I am eating junk food trying to soothe myself. feel like crying.

I’m okay I guess. Not really bad dreams after I went to bed after 1am. I can tell I am more on edge, hypervigilant today but I’m trying to calm myself down.

Some things I do: close blinds even one time I rearranged my room so bigger furniture was by the window etc

i have Apple AirPods Pro with epic noise cancellation but I didn’t use them in this case due to wanting to protect my family. I could, though. I would listen to true crime to calm myself down (slightly sarcasti.)
