Hubby has been pushing his boundaries a lot over the last few weeks, sometimes too far.
This latest one is an example.
On Friday he drove 20 miles to the main dealers in our area, to get s simple job fixed on our car which is still under warranty. He went there last week for something else, but got lost on the way back, so this week was a bit of a test for him.
They were a bit reluctant to fix the problem as they said it was not really covered by the warranty, but he nicely pushed and got the job done. This on its own was him pushing his boundaries as he cannot cope very well with any kind of confrontation, no matter how small.
He then drove back, and did not get lost this time as he knew the road to follow, following the bypass and not turning off it this time.
He also went to the Dr's on his own this week, something he does not like doing, as he forgets what he is there for. We dealt with that by writing it all down for him before he went. He even managed to tell me all that was said in one go, instead if it taking him a couple of days.
Pushing himself like this has caused him to fall a bit and his head has not been in the right place for the last few days. Like I said to him though, he has done all this and more on his own this time, with out me being with him coaching him with it all.
He needs now to learn to pace himself, still pushing but maybe not as many things in one go.
So with all of this we have to deal with his head running at 100 miles, disassociation and the what if's.
