Im not sure where you are, but we do have them here in the States. In the UK it doesnt sound as though they do or have many readily available.
@joeylittle is correct, in the US, we can technically "shop" for our doctors and I adore this as one can't really get a scope of how a Dr is without patient input in my opinion.
Though I did google search "NHS doctor ratings" and got many sites but mainly this one Reviews and ratings - The Docs - NHS Choices
And then google search "doctor ratings UK" (and filtered through University of Kentucky..i imagine in the UK this isnt an issue) and got many MANY sites. It seems there are independent sites doing ratings but they do exist in the UK. Not sure how accurate but they are there.
