Hi.
I've been a quiet member on here for a while, I'm a bit shy and take a while to feel comfortable enough in new surroundings to step forward. That being said, the connection I have found through reading even remotely similar experiences has been invaluable and a great comfort to me.
I was diagnosed with CPTSD a little over 2 years ago, after spending years thinking I was truly losing my mind. I'm still trying to get a handle on the trauma I experienced as a child. I also have OCD and GAD, and have occasional flarings of depression and suicidal ideation.
I am a parent, and a wife, and this little family is my main motivation for getting back to being some kind of whole. I hope that by becoming more active on this forum I can find greater insight and acceptance, and maybe even find myself part of positive connections with others.
