For the last few weeks, my heart has been racing almost daily, sometimes for hours. It's not the same as a full fledged panic attack like I usually have, but it is ferociously uncomfortable. I can't for the life of me figure out what is triggering it. I've had an ECG recently which was all clear, and I don't know if there's any point in seeing my doctor, who will just say it's probably PTSD. It's making it hard to get any work done, and next to impossible to exercise. Has anyone else experienced this? Does it ever go away? I'm so frustrated I could throw things.

*Huggles* I was diagnosed last year with sinus tachycardia - with my pulse continually racing at 150bpm... not nice at all!! I could hardly do anything - I'd get worn out just movingrround my flat! Beta blockers have helped a lot. I was on propranolol at the time but it wasn't doing anything, so I'm now on 100mg of atenolol. It really does help - I can feel the difference before and after I've taken it. Xx

Stuff,

I have wpw, where my heart races too, I also believe it's a combination of that and the PTSD and anxiety. I get very tired as well. I'm just tired. All this stuff takes it's toll.

Hope you get to feeling better
