My vet & I have not been in an official relationship since March. Since then he periodically reaches out to me. We have seen each other a handful of times. He has attempted suicide once, told me about it. He was so scared, so upset, so raw and promised he would never even consider it again. That was about 2 months ago. This week he sent me a goodbye message in the middle of the night, thinking I wouldn't see it until morning but I couldn't sleep, was awake and responded right away. Between conversation, crying, me going over to see him (which he usually refuses, but this time accepted easily) he didn't harm himself. He was in a better mindset the next day, told me how good we always were together, etc. But I see his cycling becoming sporadic and scary. I called a hotline looking for advice on how to help him. they wanted me to give them his name & number. I didnt because he would be completely irate. He's been pushing everyone away, he even admits it. He was in a motorcycle accident today. He's refusing visitors. I am so incredibly worried about him. Everyone who knows someone who committed suicide always says "if I knew they felt this way I would've done something" I need to know, what would you do? Here I know someone is periodically considering suicide, has less and less regard for their own life, pushing everyone away. What can I do????????

Do you know any of his friends that he may not be pushing away? I see you say he's pushing everyone away but some people have long term friends they may be more apt to listen to.
