@Friday , on your recommendation earlier in this thread, I bought that Italian cook book of biblical proportions (Silver Spoon). I read cookbooks like other folks read novels, and can usually tell if recipes will "work" or not. It arrived yesterday. Sat up reading until three in the AM. I think I have to get rid of a few other cook books to have it fit in my book case. But OMG, the recipes sound delish, going to take a few with me to the north for work. Thanks for the inspiration!
