Recently I started a thread about a cousins funeral that caused me a lot of concern. People here rallied to support me and offer advice. Over Christmas I lost another one and of course it's a sad event yet I don't want everyone to rush in with their sympathies as I have learnt how to survive the day with advice already received.
What I do want to draw attention to is the relationship I realise I now have with people here. My cousin died on Christmas day and part of me wanted to come on here and spread the load, yet another part of me realised how this could upset others so I am quite proud to have held of mentioning it until now, in fact I wasn't sure whether to post this as a success story.
This time I know I will be able to attend the funeral whether my wife goes with me or not, thanks to the support already received.
Just goes to show that advice given once can be used many times.
