Just want to say THANK YOU....I KNOW MANY OF YOU SUFFER BECAUSE YOU HAVE FOUGHT FOR THOSE OF US WHO CAN'T....IT'S NOT UNAPPRECIATED!!!!!!

My husband and his brother both served in the Viert Nam War.

My Grandfather and Great Uncle served in WW2 and were both at Normandy Beach. My father was drafted and served as an engineer in Vietnam. My husband was in the U.S Navy.

My mom's only male cousin on her dad's side, died in the Vietnam war. He didn't have to go in since he was the only male in his family of that generation, but he chose to because his father and uncles were all in the service.

My dad was drafted, but he was stationed in Germany. He said he should have made a career out of it.

Here are a couple pictures of my grandpa in the service, early on and later, and a row of medical beds. Those pictures were in my grandma and grandpas belongings. They might not be too clear because I scanned them off a negative. The medical beds seemed really poignant to me.



Yes, my grandpa was a ham.

Hmm...thought that was a hospital and not the baracks(Navy). Not so sure now.

Sadly part of my work as a florist was not always joyful. I put a piece of my heart in every design.
