I rarely post in Chat.. I went there a lot when I got here a few months ago... for me, the age difference between myself and the majority that post in Chat, is a chasm to me..I find myself getting bored. So in this case, I chose to check and see what is going on, if a new thread has been started. Guess while lurking, if I felt I had something relevant to share , I would... But there is so much here !!! I could read everything and miss out on socializing.. which I do, on posts and PM's...I don't post on Chat, but do go there to see who is there and what's going on... Sometimes it is the same few people talking about the same thing two days ago when I checked in...so I don't stick around... This is a great thread....Never thought about the fact that there was an indication some of us chat, some of us post.... but don't always do both... interesting to me.
